Our goal is to add a Jewish dimension to everyday life at Lehigh and work with people to integrate being Jewish into who they are in their daily lives. Regardless of one's Jewish affiliation, practice or beliefs, there is a place here on campus for each one of us.
MISSION
Our mission is to serve the spiritual and communal needs of our Jewish students and the broader Lehigh community, so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world during their college years and beyond.
PURSUING JUSTICE
The Office of Jewish Student Life and Lehigh Hillel are committed to creating a better world through acts of tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tzedek (righteousness).
DIVERSITY, INCLUSION & EQUITY
As part of the Office of the University Chaplain, we are also a part of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. As a result, we often work in partnership with the Pride Center for Sexuality and Gender Identity, the Center for Gender Equity (formerly the Women's Center) and the Office of Multicultural Affairs. We also collaborate with the Office of Student Leadership Development, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, the Office of Residence Life, and other University Offices.
